Police make arrest for homicide on C Street SE

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Metropolitan Police Department officials have arrested a man in connection to a homicide which happened in DC in May.

According to officials, officers were called to the 4400 block of C Street SE for the report of an assault at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday, May 13. They found a man stabbed, unconscious and not breathing. He later died.

Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Elike Rahmon Richardson of Southeast Washington.

On June 11, Police arrested Allen Thomas, 28 and charged Thomas with 'Second Degree Murder while Armed' in connection to the death of Richardson, police said.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department's TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
