Hazmat Situation Backs Up Traffic On Beltway

A tractor trailer spilled flammable liquid at the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway between Brad Boulevard and Thomas Bridge leading to a hazmat incident on Tuesday morning, say Montgomery County officials. Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham says that the truck's load shifted and a vessel ruptured, leading to the hazmat situation. Graham says there is one minor injury in the accident and one person was transported to the hospital.
