2 Children Killed, Others Injured In Myersville Fire

Two girls died in a fire in Myersville on Thursday, confirm Frederick County officials. Four other people were taken to hospitals. The fire happened at a home in the 3900 block of Highland Avenue on Thursday night at approximately 11:20.

Former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader Sarah Jones pleaded guilty on Oct. 8, 2012, to lesser charges on allegations that she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student when Jones was a teacher at Dixie Heights High School in northern Kentucky. Her mother, Cheryl Jones, also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. Both women avoid jail time as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.
