Snow Falling In DC Area

Snow started falling in Northwest D.C. around 2 p.m. Friday. Other people also reported snow. Meteorologist Howard Bernstein predicted the snow would overspread the area by 3 pm and the evening's commute would be a little tricky as snow stuck to untreated surfaces. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for the DC Metropolitan region until 9 p.m.
