Car Hits Back Of Tractor Trailer In Columbia, Md.

A serious crash involving a tractor trailer has caused a significant traffic back-up in the northbound lanes of I-95 in Howard County. Maryland State Police are on the scene where a car rammed the back end of a tractor trailer that had stopped on the shoulder of northbound I-95 just before Route 216 early Friday morning. Howard County Fire and Rescue crews responded to the scene and extricated the trapped driver, who was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
