Heavenly Jade Of The Maya: Free Exhibit In DC

To commemorate the end of the 13th bak'tun (Maya year cycle) of the Mayan calendar ending on Dec. 21, 2012, over 90 Mayan artifacts are on display at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The items come from the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of Guatemala. The free exhibit will remain open to the public until Feb. 15, 2013.
