Driver Dies In GW Parkway Accident

A driver died at the scene of a car accident on southbound George Washington Parkway north of Mount Vernon on Monday morning. A passenger in the car suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The accident occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. The parkway will be closed for several hours.
