PHOTOS: Beer Truck Overturns On NB I-270 Near MD-109

A crash involving an overturned beer truck that lost its load blocked all but the right shoulder of northbound I-270 north of Route 109 in Hyattstown on Thursday morning. Officials say a large piece of debris was reported in the roadway just before the collision occurred just after 4:10 a.m. Police say the tractor trailer overturned and struck the guardrail and barriers, coming to rest on its side. According to state police, the tractor-trailer is destroyed, and its precious cargo was scattered across the roadway.
