WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Texting while driving is probably the scariest thing on the road since Christine. There's simply no way to do it without putting everyone around in danger, at least until now.

A company called Nuance is out with a piece of software that will allow you to basically activate all the services on your PDA via voice control, including text messaging.

So how well does this work? We tested it and it does exactly as advertised, though it takes roughly 30 seconds to work.

AAA spokesman John Townsend is only mildly impressed, saying the device still requires you to take at least one hand off the wheel.
