LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) -- Four women accused of using a popular Web site to list illegal sex services have been arrested by Anne Arundel County Police, the latest case of people charged with using the Internet for prostitution. The women face charges of engaging in prostitution in hotels around Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport. Detectives set up appointments with the women through craigslist.com, then met with the women in recent days. Arrested were: Catherine Chrisler, 24, of Lisle, N.Y.; Kristina Lee Jenkins, 23, of Laurel; Bridgett Lee Robinson, 23, of Lothian; and Candace Laine Conn, 22, of Baltimore. Police believe the women were operating independently, The (Baltimore) Sun reported. Authorities say the Internet is a common forum for prostitution. Anne Arundel authorities arrested four other women on similar charges in August of last year, and several other states have made arrests stemming from postings on the free classified site. Word of the latest BWI arrests spilled onto the site quickly. The (Baltimore) Sun reported that on Wednesday evening, an unidentified poster wrote, "BEWARE OF BWI OUTCALL!! I GOT BUSTED TODAY!!!"
