WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) - Over the last couple of days there has been plenty of talk on and around the Capitol Hill about the upcoming September 11th anniversary, and the possibility of a terror strike.
But those in charge of looking out for danger, say they don't see any on the horizon.
DC Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton says she was concerned, but isn't any longer. She says she was assured just minutes after a closed door meeting late Friday afternoon with top security officials on Capitol Hill.
The federal lawmaker who works and lives on Capitol Hill believes warning flags were first raised when an alleged al-Qaeda propaganda ad entitled "WAIT FOR THE BIG SURPRISE" with President Bush and Pakistani President Musharraf surfaced on the internet earlier this week with the leaders pictured in front of a burning White House.
Larry Johnson is a former agent with the CIA and currently a homeland security expert who believes that if or when terrorists strike next on American soil - we - nor members of Congress should not expect any warning before hand.
And he hopes that members of Congress aren't speaking out about any threats that may know very little about.
As for locals and visitors to DC - all this talk of a terror attack has done little to nothing in the way of altering day to day plans.
