In Rappahannock, family and friends are remembering Emily Jane Hilscher, an Animal and Poultry Sciences major, who was gunned down in her dorm with her Resident Advisor -- for what reason? No one knows for sure.
The Rappahannock newspaper tells a story of how Emily's parents heard about the shootings from a FedEx delivery man who happened to be in the neighborhood. The paper says that deliveryman found someone else to finish his route and he drove the worried parents to Virginia Tech himself.
