Airports Reopen As Storm Heads Out Of Town

(WUSA) -- All three local airports are now open, but travellers are urged to check with their airlines to make sure flights are running on time and not canceled.

Heavy sleet overnight saved much of our area from a severe ice storm from the District, North & West. Southern Maryland was not as fortunate. Charles County and Southern Maryland received more freezing rain overnight. We have received numerous reports of downed trees and limbs.
