Prince George's County police are preparing to say farewell to one of their own.

Two separate viewings will be held Friday for Sergeant Steven Gaughan, who was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday. The viewings will take place at the Borgwardt Funeral home on Powder Mill Road in Beltsville from 2 to 4 p.m. and then again from 7 to 9 p.m.

Gaughan's funeral will be held at noon Saturday at the Riverdale Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro. The burial will follow at the Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.

The suspect in Gaughan's death, Robert Billett, is being held without bond. Prosecutors are deciding whether to pursue the death penalty.
