Police in Northwest Washington are investigating the shooting death of a 55-year-old man.
It happened in the 1800 block of R Street in the Dupont Circle area.
Police say Adrian Alstad of the 1700 block of 20th Street Northwest was attacked while walking home from work at Annie's Restaurant just a few blocks away.
While authorities say no one, for now has come forward to report they witnessed the incident, some residents in the area say shots and a man calling for help were heard.
Alstad was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are offering a reward up to $25-thousand for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Alstad's murder.
