Man attempts to run over crowd of people in southeast Houston

HOUSTON (KHOU) -- A man was reportedly being taunted by a crowd of people and attempted to run them over with a car Wednesday afternoon in southeast Houston following a fatal shooting.

The incident happened in the 6000 block of Belarbor.

According to police, 20-year-old Demarcus Harrison was shot and killed by a man he had an ongoing dispute with outside the apartment complex.

Paul Callis, the victim's grandfather was distraught.

"He didn't deserve that," said Callis.
