WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The U.S. Postal Service is honoring civil rights activist Rosa Parks with a forever stamp.
It is available today. It would have been Parks' 100th birthday.

Rosa Parks was born Rosa Louise McCauley in Tuskegee, Alabama on Feb. 4, 1913.
In 1955, she refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama city bus to a white man. Her action helped spark a civil rights revolution.
