NEWARK, NJ. (WUSA) -- The Amtrak Northeast Corridor service between New York Penn Station and Newark, New Jersey will be temporarily suspended on Wednesday due to mechanical issues with the Portal Bridge, located in Newark, New Jersey.
Amtrak reports that Amtrak personnel are on site attempting to make repairs.
Amtrak hasn't provided an estimated time frame for the necessary repairs to be fixed.
