(WUSA) -- For a lot of workers, the grass always seems greener on the other side. A higher salary can make other jobs sound more attractive than your current position, but they could also be very stressful jobs.
Consider this: CareerCast has released a list of the least stressful jobs.
1. University professor -- few reasons why: high growth opportunities, low health risks and good pay.
The median annual salary for a professor is $62,000 with salaries at some top universities pushing $200,000.
2. Seamstress or a tailor -- the median salary of less than $30,000, but the payoff is that seamstresses and tailors are able to be creative, often work in quiet environments, and physical demands are low.
3. Medical records technician -- the pay is just over $30,000 a year, but this is a growing profession.
4. Jeweler.
5. Medical lab technician.
There are a couple of other jobs to consider if you want a low-stress environment: audiologists, dietitians, hair stylists, librarians and drill press operator.
