HYATTSVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- Creative teachers are turning subjects like Algebra and English into a game show of sorts!
Students solve the math problem or poetry quiz question and quickly buzz in their answer on something that looks like a TV remote.
The "Turning Point" software tabulates the answers and instantly creates a graph on a projector at the front of the room. It shows the percentage of students who chose the right answer and which wrong answers were picked.
The instant feed back tells the teacher if their teaching methods are getting through, if students need more review or if it's time to move on to the next topic. Now that's Cool!
