WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Officials with the USO (United Service Organizations) say participants in the 9/11 USO Service Project will assemble 2,000 care packages for servicemen and women in Afghanistan on Tuesday.
The USO put together the program as a response to the events to the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
Tuesday's event will be held at the Rayburn House Office Building in D.C. at 10 a.m.
