LANGLEY PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police say the suspect in the 2012 murder of 23-year-old Saul Felipe-Augustine in Langley Park is in custody in Nassau County, New York.
According to police, 21-year-old Rudy Ismael Manchame-Guerra was found thanks to a tip from the community. The Nassau County (NY) Police Department arrested Manchame-Guerra on Thursay. Police say he admitted his involvement in the murder.
Felipe-Augustine was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the hallway of an apartment building on July 14, 2012. He was pronounced dead on the scene, say police.
Police say they now know the shooting stemmed from an argument between the two men.
Manchame-Guerra is awaiting extradition to Prince George's County, according to police.
