HOLLYWOOD, Md. (WUSA 9) -- St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office authorities say that a Hollywood, Md. man is charged with second degree assault after a woman suffered a fractured wrist.

According to authorities, a victim reported on Monday that last Friday she had an argument with 60-year-old Gregory Charles Fahrner, which escalated into an assault. 

Authorities say Fahrner grabbed her wrists and she was later treated at a hospital for a fractured wrist.

Fahrner was arrested and charged with second degree assault on Monday.
