WHEATON, Md. (WUSA) -- Montgomery County Police say a woman was found on the roadway Tuesday night in Wheaton.
Officials believe the woman was possible hit by a car in the intersection of Connecticut Ave. and Randolph Road at about 8:15 p.m., police said.
The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injures, police said.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a gray or white passenger car with damage to the right, front side of the car, police said.
Police said the car was last seen headed south on Connecticut Avenue.
