COLUMBIA, Md. (WUSA) -- Howard County police say a woman was caught on tape abusing a man with an intellectual disability at a group home.
Fifty-seven-year-old Donna Everett is charged with assault and reckless endangerment in a case that involved abusing a 53-year-old man and endangering the safety of a 41-year-old woman, say police. Everett is a house manager at a Columbia Group home.
According to police, video of the abuse was posted on YouTube and not-for-profit organization Emerge, Inc. reported the video to police.

The video shows Everett hitting the man in the head, face and neck and spitting in the man's face at the group home on Quilting Way. Police say you can also see Everett encouraging a woman with disabilities to help abuse the man. The man then tried to defend himself. Police say you can hear people laughing in the background.
Everett posted bond and was released from the county detention center.
Police are still trying to identify the people involved in making the video.
