TAKOMA PARK Md. (WUSA) -- The Takoma Park Police Department says it has arrested a woman for selling drugs in the City of Takoma Park.
Chief Alan M. Goldberg says 46-year-old Celestine Lee of Sandy Spring, Md. was arrested for distribution of narcotics and possession with the intent to distribute narcotics.
In November, Lee was identified as someone selling methadone in Takoma Park. Police investigated the case, and on November 20 they issued an arrest warrant for Lee. Police arrested Lee the next day and took her into custody without incident.
Police found bottles of methadone in Lee's possession, in an amount that suggested that Lee was also going to distribute the drug.
Lee has been transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
