OAKLAND, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police have closed Interstate 68 in Garrett County because of conditions brought by superstorm Sandy.
The closure was ordered early Tuesday from the West Virginia-Maryland line to Exit 34 in Allegany County. The closure applies to both eastbound and westbound lanes.
I-68 is also closed at Finzel due to snow and blizzard conditions. Motorists will be guided back toward the LaVale area.
