UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA) -- After deliberating for less than an hour on Thursday, a Prince George's County jury found David Henry Wright guilty of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Ansel Donovan Whitelocke. He was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, robbery with a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon.

Wright was one of three people involved in Whitelocke's death on December 31, 2010, say authorities. DeMarco Williams and Verlyncia Coleman already pleaded guilty to charges and were sentenced. Williams was sentenced to 45 years in jail and five years of supervised probation. Coleman was sentenced to 18 years in prison and five years of supervised probation.

According to authorities, Williams and Coleman, who was friends with Whitocke, plotted to rob Whitelocke at his Hyattsville apartment.  Coleman and a girlfriend went to Whitlocke's for  New Year's Eve and when they left, Wright and Williams entered the apartment. They then demanded money, which Whitlocke refused to do. Wright and Williams then stabbed him 43 times.

Wright and Williams fled with a bible, jewelry and approximately $550, according to authorities.

Wright faces a sentence of life plus 40 years in prison during his next hearing on November 29.
