FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA)-- Frederick Police arrested and charged a Maryland teen in connection to a shooting.
Police were called to the 1100 block of Key Parkway where shots were fired. One man was shot in the arm, according to police.
The victim was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, where he was treated and released.
Police say Thomas James Hamm, 17, was responsible for the shooting and was transported to central booking for processing where he will be charged as an adult.
He faces one count of attempted 2nd degree murder, one count of 1st degree assault and one count of use a handgun capable of being concealed upon the person in the commission of a felony/crime of violence.
