Robert Tyler Taylor and Charles Koethe Arrested For Suspected Marijuana, Xanax Pills In Brooklyn Park, Md.

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- Two Maryland men face multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on Saturday night resulted in the discovery of 200 Xanax pills and suspected marijuana.

According to Anne Arundel County police, an officer stopped a car for a minor violation on Doris Avenue at Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park on Saturday at approximately 11:41 p.m.

Police say the officer  then "developed probable cause to search the vehicle and as a result located a small amount of suspected marijuana as well as 200 Xanax pills worth an estimated $1,200." 

Twenty-one-year-old Robert Tyler Taylor of Brooklyn Park and 25-year-old Charles Koethe of Halethorpe were arrested and charged with Possession of CDS: Marijuana, Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana and CDS Possession with the Intent to Distribute.
