CLINTON,  Md. (WUSA) -  A man riding a bicycle on Branch Ave westbound rode into the path of a southbound car at Surratts Rd. and was struck, according to Maryland State police.

The accident took place at about 8:48 p.m Thursday, on Route 5 (Branch Ave ) near Surratts Road. According to police, the bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to a local hospital.
