COLUMBIA, Md. (WUSA) -- Firefighters canvassed Wilde Lake after a wheelchair was discovered in the water and a dog was seen running loose on Thursday.

A caller reported the finding at 10027 Hyla Brook Rd at Wilde Lake.

Howard County Fire officials say no one was found in the lake but a name was found on the chair. It turns out that the wheelchair was stolen from BWI.

 The dog has been turned over to animal rescue.
