ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA) - A pedestrian was struck by a CSX train on Monday night in Rockville, according to Montgomery County Dispatch. The male victim has been transported to an area trauma center.
Emergency crews responded at 9:16 p.m. for a report of a person hit by a train at the intersection of Nebel Street and Randolph Road, which is a railroad crossing. Traffic remains halted in both directions.
The victim is described as an adult male.
