ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. (WUSA) -- You know it's not your average college dormitory when you see a baby grand piano in the main common room.

"The interior is really, really nice," said Jessica Pilligun, a sophomore at St. Mary's College of Maryland from Rockville.  "I was actually shocked when I walked on.  I was really excited to be saying that I'm going to be living on this ship for the next six weeks."

Pilligun is one of the 240 students that will spend the rest of the semester living on the "Sea Voyager," after being kicked out of their dorms on campus three-weeks ago due to an outbreak of mold.  Despite the perks, Pilligun realized the downsides to living on a cruise ship while unpacking Wednesday afternoon.

"I have no idea where to put any of my stuff right now because we don't have any space," said Pilligun.

It's tight quarters.  There's two beds and not much else.  But there is a window and each room has its own bathroom.  The ship is also equipped with satellite TV, wireless internet, a cafe, workout facilities, a lavish study room with crystal chandeliers, and a 360-degree view of the St. Mary's River.

"Living on the cruise ship itself is awesome.  It's like a little mini Titanic on the water," said Pilligun.

It may feel like the Titanic, but this ship is just 10 years old.  It was built in 2001 and it's only been at sea for six months.  Last year, it was in Haiti helping out victims of the earthquake.  This year, it's at St. Mary's College helping victims of a mold outbreak.
