Man who set girlfriend on fire was arrested

In Virginia, a woman intentionally set on fire last month has died.

MOUNT VERNON, VA (WUSA9) - The man who allegedly set his girlfriend on fire nearly two weeks ago was arrested Thursday night. 

Delores Williams, 64, died at the hospital overnight Wednesday into Thursday, Fairfax County Police said.

Lewis Edward Reeder, who was wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, was arrested near Richmond, Va. after a tip from a community member.

Police asked for the public’s help in finding a green 2001 Ford Taurus with Virginia license plates VPW1915.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
