FAUQUIER COUNTY, Va. (WUSA) -- The suspect of a hit-and-run accident in Fauquier County that killed one person and seriously injured another is behind bars, Virginia State Police said.

Diego Vazquez Mendoza, 32-year-old of Culperper County, was arrested after the Town of Culpeper Police received a tip about his whereabouts on Wednesday, police said.
