Va. man arrested for strangling woman

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County Police Department arrested a 51-year-old man on Saturday for strangling a woman in Woodbridge, Va.

According to authorities, they responded to a home in the 1600 block of Hylton Ave. in Woodbridge, Va. around 10:45 a.m. The victim, a 43-year-old woman told authorities she got into an argument with a man she knows. The argument escalated and the man pushed her to the ground and then choked her.

According to police, she suffered from minor injuries.

Police arrested 51-year-old Eduardo Manuel Crespo Nunez of Woodbridge, Va.

He is being held without bond and has a pending court date, police said.
