PREVIEW: Wednesday at ex-Va. Gov. McDonnell trial

RICHMOND (WUSA9) -- A day of very revealing testimony that included personal details of Bob and Maureen McDonnell's personal life is over.

Wednesday, prosecutors will continue questioning Jerri Fulkerson, Jonnie Williams's executive assistant. Fulkerson testified that she signed two different $50,000 checks to Maureen McDonnell while she was the Commonwealth's first lady.

After she's done testifying, Williams is expected to take the stand. It will be his first public appearance since the McDonnells were charged.

On Tuesday, Maureen McDonnell's lawyers warned the jury about being manipulated by Williams's upcoming testimony, just like they say Maureen was manipulated by him.
