Police seek suspect in Va. restaurant robbery

MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police are searching for a suspect who threw a brick through the front glass door of a restaurant in Manassas, Va. and then fled with money from the cash register on Tuesday morning.

Police said the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. at the China Star restaurant located at 9917 Wellington Road. Authorities said the suspect went through the counter and the cash register and fled with cash, a credit card and a laptop.

The suspect is being described as a white or Hispanic man, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall. He has a thin build, and was wearing light colored shirt, and dark pants. Authorities said he has shoulder length straight hair and is possibly in his late teens, early twenties.

The man has a tattoo on his left forearm and was wearing a light colored ski mask.
