$10,000 award for Va. Fas Mart shooting suspect

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office released enhanced photos and a better description of the shooter involved in the Fas Mart shooting, who shot a woman twice in Spotslyvania County, Va. on March 8.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office released the photos Thursday. Authorities said the original photos were sent to the FBI Laboratory for enhancement.

The new photos show the face more clearly and features of the suspect in the incident. Sheriff Harris also said that the reward for information leading to an arrest of the person is now at $10,000.

In addition, the sheriff's office said a better description is now available. The suspect is a while man, between five feet six inches and five feet ten inches tall, with a reddish brown beard or goatee.

His beard has white or gray highlights. The beard hangs down approximately two inches below the chin, authorities said. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black "hoody" type sweat shirt with khaki style pants.

He was also wearing black gloves at the time. The suspect asked the victim for a tin of smokeless tobacco, brand named Grizzly, authorities said.
