Martial arts teacher faces child sex charges

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (WUSA9) – A martial arts instructor has been arrested for allegedly touching a six-year-old girl inappropriately, Fairfax County police said.

Police arrested 29-year-old Renzo Martin “Garcia” Davila at his Springfield home on Sunday morning. He is being charged with aggravated sexual battery.

The victim, a six-year-old girl reported that Davila had touched her inappropriately. An investigation remains ongoing. Authorities believe there may be other victims.

It is unclear if she was a student at "Leading By Example" Tae Kwon Do studios on Huntsman Boulevard in Springfield.

Davila taught at the martial arts academy more than one year. The 29-year-old also taught at a Montessori school in Chantilly and coached soccer for Springfield South County Youth Club. Police fear there could be more victims out there and urge parents to talk to their children.
