WANTED: Person who vandalized Md. cemetery

Growing outrage in Prince George's County after a historic church yard was vandalized.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD. (WUSA9) - Detectives are working to find and arrest the person or persons who vandalized a cemetery in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. 

Police were called to the cemetery at St. Thomas Episcopal Church located in the 14000 block of St. Thomas Church Road on Saturday evening. 

Authorities believe the vandals targeted the cemetery on Friday night. Officials said the vandals knocked over 24 headstones with some of them dating back to the 1800's. 

The St. Thomas Church is a Prince George’s County Historic Site and is also on The National Register of Historic Places.
