UPPER MARLBORO (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County sheriffs recovered seven guns during an arrest on April 30.
Paul Earnest Fleming, of the 1900 block of Rochelle Avenue in District Heights, Md., was arrested on an indictment for possession of a firearm after a felony conviction
As police attempted to take him into custody, deputies noticed the stock of a gun in plain view after a relative went to retrieve shoes from Fleming's closet, according to officials.
After seeing the firearms, deputies recovered a total of six rifles, one shotgun, and two boxes of ammunition -- one of which containing 487 rounds.
Fleming is also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, restriction on possession of ammunition, knowingly alerting a firearms identification number, illegal possession of ammunition and rife/shot possession with a felony conviction.
