Police look for suspect in Prince George's robberies

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police are looking for a bank robbery suspect who they say is linked to several armed robberies.

Police say the suspect is responsible for a robbery in Upper Marlboro that happened Tuesday morning.

The suspect is linked to robberies at the following stores in the southern region of Prince George's County, according to police:

• The Maxway in the 4200 block of Branch Avenue on March 28, 2014, at about 9:00 p.m.
• The Aldi Foods store in the 6300 block of Livingston Road on April 3, 2014, at about 8:15 p.m.
• The 7-11 in the 5500 block of Livingtson Road on April 7, 2014, at about 7:30 a.m.
• The Radio Shack in the 6100 block of Livingston Road on April 7, 2014, at about 5:45 p.m.

The suspect is described as an African American male with a medium complexion, in his 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black leather hat, a black jacket, burgundy shirt and blue jeans, according to police. He also was wearing some sort of patch over his left eye.
