Man sentenced for shooting friend while on PCP

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- A man who pleaded guilty to shooting his best friend in the face while high on PCP was sentenced to 16 years on Tuesday.

On May 15, 2013, police found Mohamed Bah standing on top of a Prince George's County fire truck, naked and screaming profanities at onlookers.

Police had to Taser him in order to get him under control and take him into custody, according to officials.

Prior to his arrest, Bah was riding in a car with the victim and a witness when he began acting erratic. The witness told police that Bah, who was in the passenger seat, turned around and shot his friend, who was sitting in the back seat.

After the shooting, the witness fled the car while it was still in motion and ran for help.

Bah pleaded guilty on February 20, 2014.
