UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- Two brothers were arrested for a series of separate assaults in Prince George's County, closing five open arrest warrants in the process.
Police say Delondre Mason and Tyrico Mason were arrested last week on separate arrest warrants for first degree assault that were obtained by county police on May 2 and May 24.
Delondre Mason is alleged to have assaulted a female victim at a Beltsville residence on several occasions between September and October 2013. In one instance, Delondre retrieved and fired a long rifle styled pellet gun, striking the victim in her back while holding a small child, police say. He also allegedly struck the victim in the back of the head with a glass bottle.
After taking him into custody, officials recognized Delondre Mason's name in relation to another suspect wanted for assault: his brother, Tyrico.
The warrant states that in April 2014, Tyrico assaulted two male victims after they witnessed him knocking on residential doors and intentionally running away in the area of Dickinson Avenue and Norwich Road in College Park, Md.
Tyrico was arrested and charged with two counts of assault second degree.
