UPDATE: 22-year-old Gaithersburg man stabbed to death

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (WUSA9) -- Gaithersburg Police report that 22-year-old Bryan Robert Hall, who was in grave condition early Friday morning after suffering from multiple stab wounds, has died from his injuries.

Police said the stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning in the 900 block of Curry Ford Lane in Gaithersburg.

Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that Hall and suspect, Pavel S. Ivanov, 24, of North Potomac, knew each other and agreed to meet at Curry Ford Lane where they had an argument. The disagreement escalated into an assault, during which Pavel stabbed Hall multiple times.

Ivanov was interviewed and charged with first degree murder and related charges on Friday night.
