WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - From the inauguration to the solar eclipse, it's safe to say 2017 has been a very interesting year, and these are the stories you could not stop talking about. Here are the top 10 stories you commented on, on our Facebook page

10. NBC4 Washington anchor Jim Vance dies

Jim Vance, a longtime NBC4 Washington anchor, died at 75. Earlier this year, he told his colleagues that he was being treated for cancer.

9. 2017 Presidential Inauguration

The 58th presidential inauguration welcoming our 45th president, Donald J. trump was held this year on Jan. 20. 

8. The Solar Eclipse 

Millions of Americans gazed in wonder through telescopes, cameras and disposable protective glasses as the moon blotted out the sun in the first full-blown solar eclipse to sweep the U.S. from coast to coast in nearly a century.

7.  The Women's March 

The Women's March on Washington was one of the largest demonstrations around the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
