COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- Howard County police say two people were shot at a late-night Halloween Party in Columbia that turned deadly.

Police say 19-year-old Aaron Thomas Brice of Silver Spring, was found dead at the scene early Sunday. Twenty-two-year-old Nathaniel Quick of Columbia was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition. Police say Quick is expected to survive, but may be paralyzed.

Two other Columbia men, ages 20 and 21, were taken to Howard County General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say investigators do not believe their injuries were related to the shooting.

Police say more than 100 people were at the home and they are still trying to determine what led to the shooting.
