SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA) -- On a day when two more H1N1 flu deaths were reported in Maryland, huge crowds ahow up at three H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics in Montgomery County.
They're were held at Northwood, Rockville, and Northwest High Schools from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Health officials urged people not to start lining up until 3:30 p.m., but 9NEWS NOW found more than two dozen people already in line at Northwood High School in Silver Spring by 12:30 p.m. At 2:30, the line was down the block.
Montgomery County Health Officer Dr. Ulder Tillman says there are only 1,000 doses of the nasal vaccine available at each of the schools. Those eligible are healthy individuals between the ages of 2 and 24-years-old. Pregnant women cannot get the nasal vaccine.
Organizers started giving out numbered passes for people in line beginning at 3:30, so people wouldn't wait for hours unnecessarily.
All three thousand doses available at the three clinics were accounted for within one hour.
